Located at 2300 Bee Ridge Rd #303, Sarasota, FL 34239, Sarasota Florist operates as a florist serving Sarasota in Florida. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Florists in the United States range from neighborhood flower shops with a walk-in cooler to studio designers who work only by appointment for weddings and events. Most retail florists build arrangements to order, deliver the same day when you call before early afternoon, and belong to a wire network (FTD, Teleflora or BloomNet) that passes out-of-town orders to a local shop. Ordering from the shop directly rather than through a national website usually means more flowers for the money, because no order-gatherer takes a cut. Flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, often early in the morning, and many now open to the public. Flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies and sunflowers and sell by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 9 amโ5 pm. It is closed on Sunday. Sarasota is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Sarasota peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Ordered some flowers to have in the house while some friends/family stayed with us for the week! Ordering was easy, the shop is so cute, and Stevie made the prettiest flower arrangements in this specialty teapot vase! 10/10

I highly recommend going to Sarasota Florist. Stevie and Sarah went above and beyond to make sure the flower arrangements for my mother's funeral looked amazing. They are very kind, compassionate and professional. Thank you both for all that you did for my family during a difficult time.

What I ordered and paid $129.00 for vs what was delivered โ which was basically a grocery store bouquet. Merchant offered $20 credit - which is barely more than the delivery fee. A $20 refund is not an acceptable resolution. Claim has been filed with Mastercard for misrepresentation of goods sold. Specifically, the arrangement failed to meet the order description in the following ways: * Missing Key Elements: There were zero Gladiolus (the focal point of the arrangement), no Liatrice, no Yellow Roses, and no Statice. * Substandard Substitution: The description promised 6 bloom types; the delivery contained only 3 (carnations, daisies, and poms) with an excessive amount of filler greens. * Incorrect Presentation: The arrangement was missing the signature Purple Vase. * Value Discrepancy: The bloom count was notably skimpy, failing to reflect the "Premium" price point.

I had a terrible experience with this florist company. Decent people, but they neglected to tell me that this measly bouquet of flowers is what Iโd be getting instead of the image presented. This first image is what was delivered and the 2nd is what should have arrived on my doorstep. I paid $90+ for my bouquet to be downsized and for flowers to be substituted with no store credit or refund. Total scam.

Before: December 10 After: December 31 ๐ธ If youโre looking to buy flowers for yourself or a loved one, Sarasota Florist is definitely the place to go. This beautiful arrangement has lasted four weeks and honestly could last another week or more. Iโve purchased flowers from more convenient places before, and they barely lasted a week before I had to throw them away. That always hurtโespecially knowing how much money goes into them. This experience completely changed that for me. You truly get your moneyโs worth with Sarasota Florist. Not only did I receive this stunning arrangement, but I also had the opportunity to sit down with a group and make it myself with guidance from Stevie. She was amazingโpatient, knowledgeable, and so helpful in showing us exactly how to create arrangements that turned out beautifully. Thank you so much, Stevie Krumm, for such a wonderful experience. I canโt wait to do it again! ๐
